In the future I will demand that this drug not be used on me!

loss of appetite nausea fever went up to 103 after taking this medicine.. severe stomach cramping. Do not take this medicine ask your doctor for something else this is the worst medicine I've ever taken in my life.

My sinuses are constantly congested

Side effects were dizziness, ringing in the ears, extremely stiff neck after stopping Motrin, decreased hearing, irregular menstrual cycles

Belching, stomach pain, Anxiety with racing thoughts

This medication was originally prescribed for me to prevent headaches. About a year ago, I suffered from a headache that would not go away. Doctors gave me this medication and after about a month of taking it I didn't have the headache anymore. I stopped taking the medication because it was very difficult to remember to take the medication. Then 2 weeks ago doctors doctors suggested this medication for depression after failed attempts of taking prozac (which made me extremely nauseous) and paxil (which made me light headed and dizziness which in turn made me nauseous). I would have to rate this a wonder drug for me because it took care of a chronic gagging problem in the mornings & I actually feel like doing things again.

I was on Lexapro for 2 years and went off it cold turkey with no side effects. Recently been getting debilitating panic attacks so it's back on the Lexapro. I dont remember side effects being so strong. Fatigue is the major issue. Cant sleep through the night, but can easily nap at my desk!

Very tired first day, chest pain

I told my endocrinologist I am going off Actos and will never touch it again. It's horrible. It's banned in Europe although my doctor pooh-poohed that. I gained weight steadily, a pound a month without relief, even with lots of exercise and good diet. I already take glimeperide (about 3 mg per day average) and will go on Byetta if necessary. But after just three weeks off Actos, I am starting to feel better, have way more energy, and am starting to slowly lose a little weight. I think I can get back to normal weight in a few months (faster if I go on Byetta). Actos is evil incarnate. How can gross weight gain possibly be good for anyone let alone a diabetic? My doctor could care less so now I do the research and tell him what I want to take.

I tried many, many different medications for Acid Reflux but most of them gave me little relief. Then the Dr. changed me to Protonix and I am now Reflux Free. However it does come back if I don't take the medication every day. My Dr. does keep a close watch on me and I have regular endoscopic exams.
