Side Effects for Proventil (albuterol)
No side effect but at first it didn't work. They determined that the standard nebulizer wasn't very good so they switch me to a funny thing with a plastic bag called a Circulaire, but it really worked good and now I swear by it.
the respiratory therpist said that all brands of albuterol are equal and if it doesnt work it's probly not the due to the brand. most of the time the nebulizer is at fault you need a really good nebulzier like the Circulaire

it seems like it takes more puffs to get the needed air in my lungs with this.I wonder, did something change with them????I would really hate to be out somewhere and to have a really bad breathing episode.I have had asthma for 30 yrs now, and it has never been so out of control before
I've had chronic asthma for all of my 61 years. I use both a pocket mistometer and a nebulizer. When I get bad, the only thing that helps is a Prednisone taper. Sometimes taking too much causes headaches and my hearth starts racing
I've tried every brand of Albuterol, and have found they all work pretty much the same.
Lung Virus, Exercise-Induced Asthma
I usually only need 1 puff and it works great as a preventative. I like to do 1 puff before doing cardio workouts and it works great.
Jittery, mild heart palpitations
Have had asthma my whole life. Use as needed as rescue inhaler and before I exercise. Couldn't live without it. This is a life saver (literally).
Jitters/anxiety for a few days after initial use; headaches.
I've used it on and off for the last 10 years for mild asthmatic attacks and related bronchitis. The side-effects are a small price to pay to feel human again and get rid of the feeling of heavy bricks crushing your chest.
Slight jittery feeling for the first few days I used it- nothing else.
Works great! Its fast acting, and didn't bother me at all. I use it ever day!

Works fine, but not the best. Ventolin is better. Generics are just as good and sometimes better.

I am feeling overwhelmed and have come to the conclusion that this medication is the cause of all the symptoms I will list below: Happy to sad,ex.irritable,crying,sleeplessness,vaginal dryness and yeast infections,racing mind,anxiety,lft. and rt shoulder pain,ex. dizzy when I missed and doubled up,no sex drive,sore and fatigued. I am afraid now I am being misdiagnosed as a bipolar depressant and have an appt. with a psch. I am sure this is not really me and am going to request a new form of bc. I am so confused and hurt.
I appreciate its anticoagulation effects, of course, so it's hard to complain - but here I go: the side effects are very unpleasant.
Started at 2.0 dose 20 yrs ago..down to 1.25, then .0625. Totally controlled hot flashes and mood swings. Dr made me stop 10 months ago...no reason except he said I had been taking too long. Hot flashes came back in 2 days but I had retired and thought I could deal with them for awhile. Still having horrible flashes, acne, and hair is thinning, etc. I've looked 15 years younger than my age for a long time with great hair, good skin, etc. I will find a new doc now to put me on a low dose forever. Don't mind getting old but the hot flashes and acne are killing me. I'm even getting B_itchy for no apparent reason sometimes and that is not me!

tremors worsened, had mood changes and became very short tempered and nasty, noticed no real benefits
I took cialis once with zero side effects and very pleased for the next 3 days. Took cialis again the following week and all possible side effects were present and the severity of which took me by surprise. Bloodshot eyes, stuffy nose and flush feeling were the first present. On second day flu like symptoms kept me awake for the night (odd feeling like I felt as though I were dying) third day had severe back pain and powerful headache, ibuprofen didn't work well. Fourth day, headache weakened but still very present. Fifth day is looking a lot like say four. Had to miss work from the pain and completely thrown off schedule. The intense side effects countered sexual benefit.

I had thought effexor had fewer sexual side effects than the SSRIs, but I have not found that to be the case. I added Wellbutrin, which helped to increase my libido for about 2-3 weeks... then, nothing.
Out of everything I have tried this works the best. I would not recommend using it if you intend on driving from personal experience it makes it difficult to concentrate and my senses feel dulled making it harder to react.
