Have not been tking long enough to see any. The taste left in your mouth after the inhaler is not that great - but all inhalers have this problem and I wouldn't say it's any better or worse than anything else.
If you want to treat Asthma without Long acting Beta drugs, or without Steroids, it's had to find meds. This is one of them - actually very side-effect free (Cromelyn Sodium is actuall OTC in NasalCrom it's so side-effect free).It does not work as good as Advair (Which I was on) but I'm willing to deal with a little tighter chest to avoid the side effects of Advair.
INTAL (CROMOLYN SODIUM): This medication is used to treat mastocytosis, a disease that occurs when the body has too many mast cells. These normal body cells release substances (e.g., histamines) that are needed for normal body defense and healing, but when too many mast cells are present, they release too much of these substances. This can lead to symptoms such as diarrhea, stomach/abdominal pain, itching, rash, and flushing. Cromolyn belongs to a class of medications called mast cell stabilizers. I felt great for the first three weeks (at only 25-50mg) and then proceeded to get sleepy as I increased to 200mg. At that point, I couldn't stay awake for more than an hour at a time, couldn't finish my school work, and almost had to drop out. Am just off it now, has been quite difficult to get off. Lamictal is a serious med... make sure your Pdoc thinks you really need it for depression if you're not certain of Bipolar.

I had severe allergic reaction and side effects and ended up in the ER. Swelling and tingling of face, tongue and throat. Difficulty breathing. Extreme dizziness, nausea that has persisted for days, vomiting, diarrhea.
Only take Effexor XR if you plan to be on it THE REST OF YOUR LIFE...hope you are OK with weight gain and Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
My parents take it without side effects. They seem to question my problems with it.
TO PREVENT KIDNEY PROBLEMS - AM DIA
After 26 days of Lamisil, had severe allergic reaction. Hives all over the body, from head to toe, swelling of the face, joint pain, you name it. Went to the dermatologist who prescribed this poison, and he put me on Steroids and Benadryl to fight the severe allergic reaction. This is my 2nd day on Steroids, and allergic reaction persists. Hope that it will be gone in a few days.
After being tried on every antidepressant, Remeron was the first antidepressant that made me feel not depressed. It is a miracle drug for me. I did have some weight gain. I read more about Remeron and some sources stated that the weight gain would decrease with increased dose. That is what I found, I increased it to 1.5 45mg for a while and am now at 90mg. The weight gain stopped and I was able to loose the weight I had gained.
