NALFON (FENOPROFEN CALCIUM): Fenoprofen is used to relieve mild to moderate pain from various conditions. It also reduces pain, swelling, and joint stiffness from arthritis. This medication is known as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). NoneI sleep like a baby for the first time in a long long time. I went they a couple other medications that made me too groggy to function the next day or just didn't work. I sleep 5-6 hours. But most important I stay asleep. I use to wake up and stay awake for hours at a time and fall asleep right before the alarm clock went off.

This was forced upon me in order to have an EGD. I initially refused sedation, but was told by the doctor that she would not do the procedure without it. I will not go through this again. The side effect are unbearable.
I've been on it for 3 weeks now and have finally experienced a weight loss this week - 4 lbs overnight! I'm going to continue working on the diet and exercising. I lost a lot of weight in the past with Weight Watchers, so I'm using a lot of the knowledge from what I learned there with using a journal for everything I eat.

It's called onchyolysis.If I accidentally overdose, I can't spell (at all), can't do simple math, and stagger as though I was drunk. As soon as I go back to my adequate dosage, these symptoms stop immediately and completely. Anyone experiencing these symptoms needs to take a lower dose.Otherwise, fabulous drug, no other symptoms.

Lifted my depression within days, actually could feel it working. More energy and impulse to do things, sleeping nice and regularly in spite of extra energy. I take my second dose of 150mg at 4:30pm which helps. I've used this over the years and it is my good old standby. Different side effects each time but nothing bad enough to stop. The nasty bitter taste is kind of a drag though--that's a new one for me. My suggestion, once you feel better for a month or so, taper off this drug. Don't take it for years!
