I took this and it made me a bit nauseous but it didn't rid me of anything..it's pointless and extremely expensive. I was only given 6 at 600mg and it should have been 40mg/kg which for me should have been 2800 3 times in one day.
BILTRICIDE (PRAZIQUANTEL): This medication is used to treat infections of certain parasites (e.g., Schistosoma and liver flukes). Curing parasitic infections helps to improve your health and quality of life. Praziquantel belongs to a class of drugs known as anthelmintics. It works by killing the parasites. I switched to ortho tri-cyclen a year ago after being on Ovcon 35 since I was 14 years old. I switched pills because I would get a very severe rash every time I got my period and my doctors did not know why...so they tried switching my pills. Well, recently, I developed anxiety and I am a girl who is always cool as a cucumber and very happy-go-lucky! I also began to feel very depressed, hopeless, and would just cry for no reason. I love my boyfriend of 6 years to death and just wish I had a sex drive...at all. I know all birth control pills react differently with every woman's body but I have decided to switch back to Ovcon 35 because I experienced zero emotional difficulties on that drug.
