XENICAL (ORLISTAT): This medication is used with a doctor-approved exercise, behavior change, and reduced-calorie diet program to help you lose weight. It is used by certain overweight people, such as those who are obese or have weight-related medical problems. Taking orlistat can also help keep you from gaining back weight you have lost. Losing weight and keeping it off can lessen the many health risks that come with obesity, including heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, and a shorter life. Dietary fats need to be broken down into smaller pieces before the body can absorb them. Orlistat works by blocking the enzyme that breaks down fats in your diet. This undigested fat then passes out of your body in your bowel movement. A MIRACLE DRUG. Focalin saved my life because my doctor was willing to try something very unconventional for BP. It pulled me out of horrible bipolar mixed states and made me see that life really COULD be worth living again. If you have BP and your mood stabilizer is not enough, see if your doctor will let you add on Focalin. The other stimulants do NOT work for this purpose.
I have endured all those side effects, hoping it would save me from a reccurance, which it has, so far. It has been almost 5 years since my diagnosis. After mastectomy, chemo, radiation and one year of herceptin I took Tamoxifen for a few months and have taken Femara ever since.
Alprazolam is the best medication against anxiety, but the bad thing is that you get addicted to it. I'm still addicted of benzodiazepines, but have changed alprazolam to clonazepam for about 15 years ago.

I had stomach pain almost every day for the 3 weeks that I took it. I also experienced paranoia and felt like I was in a contant mental fog. I have not slept a full nights' sleep since starting it either. I felt my heart racing and seemed to lose part of my appetite. I started to develop a metal taste in my mouth around week three. After logging on to this site I decided to stop taking it. Toenail fungus is not worth any of these side effects and now I am wondering how to cleanse my body of this drug. I've been off of it now for a week and I'm still having difficulty sleeping, but the other side effects are waning. I am wondering if my nervous system has been affected or damaged in any way. There has to be a better (and natural) cure for toenail fungus! Take this medication at your own risk!!!

I took Ortho for three years and have now been on TriNessa for 8 years. I love it. I used to have very irregular, heavy periods and now it comes like clockwork and is light to moderate. I gained 3 or 5 pounds when I first started taking Ortho 11 years ago but have no weight issues now. If anything I have become dependent on it because I am afraid to stop taking it and have my period go back to the way it was.
