I'm still taking this medication. bathroom trips frequent....may be urgent.
My heartburn...GERD continues....may be food related.
Extremely nauseous, fatigued and lightheadeHorrible side effects.Doctors not listening,my BP is good but the side effects are horrible.Tried Losartan, Amlodipine, protrypyline Help.
Stomach discomfort constipation tired all the time plus like a burning in my feet. Doctor told me it's not the medication and to go see my pd. Don't recommend this medication.
Weakness and fatigue. Short of breath. Hand, feet and arm pain with neurological issues.. burning, tingling, numbness
Couldn't believe these side effects were coming from this medication until I read this site. I pray that will go away after I quit taking. Terrible medication
BP is now running low, tired, frequent trips to bathroom.
None really. Just feel the heat and sweat a lot and wondered if that is caused by the medication. Anyone else?
Woke up the fourth day with hands like claws. My joints would hardly move and my hands hurt bad in the joints. One of my fingers kept catching when I tried to straighten it. After a few days, I was no better so went to the orthopedic clinic to be x-rayed. The doctors saw nothing, but it is weeks later and I am still having pain in my hand joints.
Retaining water everywhere especially feet
Weakness, extreme fatigue, flop sweat and then chills. Mental fog, difficulty getting through a full day of work.

I starting taking diovan for high blood pressure.it lowered it but the side effects were terrible.tinnitus left ear,severe muscle cramp then muscle spasms,ankles swelled,depression went from a very active person to being lucky to walk with in 3 months.had any amount of blood test that revealed nothing.finally convinced my doctor to take me of diovan.within a month I felt a lot better back playing sport still have some lingering problems
Been taking this for 6 months along with Carvedilol (11 mo.) and haven't achieved a constant normal reading. Yes, pressure does go up and down during the day but mine is not at a satisfactory level for taking these two meds with a water pill every other day. My PC/ Cardiologist insists that this combination works and ups the amount wheneverthe blood pressure elevated to a high 210/110 which is a very crazy number for me. Symptoms like extreme anxiety, constant coughing and not able to walk more than 30 mins. without getting tired. I felt so much better before I started taking these meds.
If you really need to take this since your blood pressure is much too high then talk to your Dr. about the side effects (they usually don't go over side effects) and read the drug literature closely.
Severe backache, joints pain, fatigue, insomnia might be due to pains

Hmm, ankle swell up, chest pain,dizziness, back pain, side pain, anxiety and heart beat...don't know what to do again cos my doctor don't agree that all these are from Diovan

Took Valsartan 40mg for 7 days. Gave me a cough and raised my BP instead of lowering it. My bottom BP number was higher than it was before. 100 which I never had issues with before. And my pulse rate was in the 40’s a couple times. Then one time setting for 15 minutes relaxing my pulse was 78 BP 168/110. So my pulse was erratic too. My resting pulse is usually in the 60s without meds.
I have now been off of Valsartan for 14 days and have had intermittent dizziness/ vertigo since I stopped it. Also still dealing with the dry hacky cough. Can’t find any info on the internet that will tell me how long to expect these after effects to stick around. This so called medicine is more of a poison in my opinion.
DIOVAN (VALSARTAN): Valsartan is used to treat high blood pressure and heart failure. It is also used to improve the chance of living longer after a heart attack. The cost is killing me. Have tried acyclovir but it doesn't do as well for outbreaks. Wondering if anyone has taken acyclovir for daily suppressive dose and Valtrex for outbreaks? Can you "mix" the two?

Blood pressure shot up to between175/105 and 160/95. Doctor put me on lisinopril and did not help so went off that 2 weeks ago. I went off nasonex 2 days ago and my pressure is now around 140/85. I also had a low grade runny nose all the time and that is now gone. Nasonex home page side effects does not list high blood pressure (funny it does list low blood pressure. Thank goodness for this website and thank you all for helping so many people who are overmedicating themselves and feeling lausy for naught.
At first I was taking 0.5 mg, but unfortunately, my anxiety attacks got worse and my doctor upped it to 1 mg. It helps fairly well at calming me down when I am having a moderate anxiety attack, though it does nothing for me when I have a severe one.
Extremely suicidal. Constant terror. Strange obsessive thoughts. Never even liked cops shows until lithium when I suddenly started obsessing on serial killer documentaries. So glad that is over! Horrible nightmares. Weight gain. Incontinence and often peed myself. Bed ridden for many months after quitting. Panic. Depression. Completely disabled me. Tongue swelled up. Teeth grinding. Tongue rubbed teeth until roots exposed. Nerve pain in legs. General stupidity. Unquenchable THIRST! Horrible body odor. No joy. no creativity. No sex. Ruined my life. Off for over a year but still trying to get some joy and feeling back. Will never trust a shrink ever again.
Slight flushing, a few actual hot flashes, vafinal dryness, prickly heat in the first week of each dose, headache on first day of each dose.
I haven't got my period...just acne all over my face(i was smooth before)
