Increased appetite, weight gain, reduced sex drive, bloating, mood swing. Acne!!!! Lots of them and won't go away!!!!

Acne, prevent from having a baby

side effects tapered off after about 4 weeks. however returned violently again if i missed a week. ultimately i fee it was worth the bad effects.

Dizzy can't walk straight, Gait is off, Weight Gain. Vision blurred. Tingling in hands & Feet.Cut i 1/2, to 10mg.& my BP went down?? I tried Amirodiane and I felt like less sick!! After reducing to 10 mg. Now my Quads are Cramping?? Pure Torture! I have taken CO Q10, Fish Oil, Vitamin C, and rehab my heart, that's why my heart is Excellent according to My Cardiologist!

I started on 30 mg which made no diffrence to me, a few weeks after switching to 60mg, my mood was more stable and I felt more like my old self, the sleeplessness isn't great but I feel so much better that I'll persevere.

I didn't realize this had a steroid in it until my body started aching, just as it had when I was on Advair. A doctor told me how terrible steroidal drugs are on your body and we pieced together all the new symptoms I had been having. I was heading down that same path quickly with Flonase. In addition, I have been extremely agitated and angry - not to mention my anxiety level has been through the roof. Not sure the drug helped my sinus pain yet - but the side effects are too much.

Just like so many other people have said -- it was SO painful and intense, I thought something was wrong. I checked the Monistat website and it said, "minor burning may occur" (or something like that), so I was even more concerned. No WAY was this minor. I laid in bed whimpering until I fell asleep. The itching yesterday was SO bad and intense, but nothing compared to the burning from the Monistat last night! I think I have taken this in the past, and never experienced this. Today I am still uncomfortable - this I would consider slight/minor burning - and I don't think I will continue with this medicine.

had to stop taking it too many side affects, lowerd my cholesterol nicely but made me miserable with each passing month.

I'm not tired anymore during the day, but I have to be focused at work. Has anyone else have problems like this starting out? Feed back greatly appreciated.

Felt like I was going thru my monthly cycle on a weekly basis, starting with constant hunger and ultimetly, weight gain, (and still battling 40 extra pounds nine years later), feelings of dispair, extreme moodiness, deep depression, lack of sex drive for about 2-3 years all after recieving only ONE shot. I don't know if was because I had it so soon after giving birth(6 weeks postpartum) but I don't recommend this shot to any one. I have a great doctor, but I still can't convince him of these long term residual effects of depo-prevera!
