VICODIN ES (ACETAMINOPHEN; HYDROCODONE BITARTRATE): This combination medication is used to relieve moderate to severe pain. It contains an opioid (narcotic) pain reliever (hydrocodone) and a non-opioid pain reliever (acetaminophen). Hydrocodone works in the brain to change how your body feels and responds to pain. Acetaminophen can also reduce a fever. This product is not recommended for use in children younger than 6 years due to an increased risk of serious side effects (such as slow/shallow breathing). This medicine helped my son greatly. Until he started taking singulair we would could not control his asthma, even with pulmicort. We would end up in the ER because he could not breath. It was really scary. I am thankful for this medicine.
First off I’ve been studying psychology for about 5 years now. I’m far from a doctor but I know more than the average Joe.I started taking Venlafaxin after trying to come off Tramadol often called Ultram. Ultram gave me horrible withdraw symptoms which I had trouble getting over and this caused me a lot of anxiety, it should be noted I started taking tramadol due to a lower back injury in my L4 L5.After starting Venlafaxin it took about a month to really start working for me, Im a 175 pound healthy male. I dosed up to 225 mg over the course of 3 months. After about 5 months I noticed the efficacy of the drug was starting to fade although I didn’t need the drug as much as I normally don’t have major bouts with anxiety. The drug did “level me out” meaning I was able to think more objectively about situations before responding to them. The drug also made me flat at times but not so much that it was impeding my life.Ive been taki
It did the job - 75mg taken half hour before bed - (eat dinner late and drink lots of water). It lower hbp from 175/110 to 128/78. Before I couldn't sleep, and wake up several times due to headache or chest pounding. Now I sleep very good through the night. About a year before the medication my hands ached all the time, I thought it was arthritist but they were swollen and now my hands are fine. I use to be a type A personallity, obsessive, compulsive, disagreeable and a perfectionist now I am a lot calmer. Things don't bother me as much. I am so calm that I frightens people as much as I did when I was nasty three months ago.

Was on OTC (and generic) for 10 yrs w/o any known problems. Suddenly pill began causing abdominal pain. Went off (against Dr's advice), and felt much better. Sex improved which I did not even realize was due to pill.
