Side Effects for Oxycodone and aspirin (aspirin; oxycodone hydrochloride; oxycodone terephthalate)

I couldn't tell this medication was doing anything at all, still has the intense off and on again pain, and the constant dull pain, Vicoden seemed to work better for me

Constipation, Stomach distress

This medicine help with severe pain from hernaited discs and peripheral neuropathy. the only downside was the ulcer I ended up with due to the aspirin. I am now on roxicodone 30mg

Had already built up a tolorance to many pain relievers...had to take a few to even feel any relief. Had ringing in my ears that was terrible. Doctor said it was the asprin that made them ring.

I guess it would work if you had not already built up the tolorance. Had to take too many for any relief...went back to hydrocodone 10/325.

Odd that my dentist gave me this then regular percocet, but he said it worked better on pain in his opinion. It worked, but I was dissatisfied because I think the aspirin in it gave me heart burn.

Great for short-term pain releif. If you have pain daily a long-lasting drug is better like oxycontin.

A bit of a upset stomach at the start of the course and a dry mouth now. No metallic taste or any other of the neuro-like symptons described by others.

Insane insomnia. After I figured it out with 2 types of sleeping pills that wouldn't help. It caused of being buried alive. All I could do was walk outside staring at stars to keep my insanitary. Be careful who you prescribe it to. My constipation was absolutely intolerable also but was the least of my worries.

terrible headache, strange vision occured

Was given the drug with fentanyl. No pain experienced. Drinking the vile Trilyte solution the day before was much more disgusting. Memory loss was freaky. Last thing I recall was talking to the doctor, who administered the drugs himself. Forty minutes later was back in my hospital room sitting up in a chair with my husband by my side. Don't even remember being put into a wheelchair after the Recovery Room and wheeled back to my hospital room. Went home a few minutes later.

4 pills and it has ruined my life. Please, there are other choices Docs can use. I know it works in some, but it is not worth the risk. This should not be on the market.

Took in 9/2014 for 7 days. 2 YEARS LATER - SUFFERING PERMANENT, DISABLING SIDE EFFECTS. While on Cipro - random ice pick pain in both hips, both knees, and shoulder. Terrible lower back pain. Pain all over body. After finishing med - felt like razor blades were slicing both achilles tendons. 8 weeks later - walked up and down stairs/next day could not walk. Both achilles tendons and calf muscles were frozen/taken in wheelchair to orthopaedic doctor. 6 weeks of PT – can now walk, but can never dance, run, exercise, or stand on toes again due to permanent tendon damage. Recently had MRI - diagnosed with tendon damage and bursitis (painful inflammation) in both hips. Hips always painful. Have to lift myself off of car seat with both arms when I drive over speed bumps. Can't do any repetitive movements with my hips. Use heating pad on them and lay down a lot. Hurts to walk for too long in store. Cipro also damaged thyroid - caused hypothyroidism. Nails broke off in chunks after Cipro

It was an effective sleep aid for me. It did help with RBD. In 2 years I did not become addicted. It only took two nights with moderate insomnia to stop the drug.

Really bad withdrawal, end up needing more if taking for a long period of time, constipation

I started taking in January 2024 (see my post for details.) I responded very quickly and was very pleased. It helped more with anxiety and obsessive thinking than mood elevation but mood was good. The main problem I had with it was the cost - it runs about $2000/month. My insurance covered all but $75 but I have ethical problems with something costing that much that is way past patent. Anyway my experience overall was good. I sweat profusely so once summer weather arrived things started to happen. First it took longer and longer for my skin to heal. The blotches from the patch usually took a few days to disappear and now they were taking longer and longer even with hydrocortison creme. My upper arms, chest, and thighs are now covered with blotches. Then, as he humidity increased, the patches would fall off after a few hours no matter how completely I clean the site before applying. Told my shrink and decided to discontinue. He said because I was on the lowest dose there was no need to taper. Have been off a week and feeling okay. Hopefully this got my thru a difficult time. From my history MAOI's work the best for me.

Bloated, acne, increased libido (a plus), increase appetite, abdominal pressure, soft stool, no period in 2 months
