Ansaid (flurbiprofen) Side Effects, Uses Dosages

Side Effects for Ansaid (flurbiprofen)

Elevated AST and ALT liver enzymes around 50 U/L.

Worked mildly better than Enteric-Coated Aspirin, but I need to keep my liver enzymes in the normal range for my doc to give me Methotrexate. And I need the methotrexate more than I need this.

Any advice for counteracting the increased appetite with this medication? I have to take for 12 days this month and continue for two more months before getting another biopsy.

It has definitely helped my mood. I do sometimes feel sad, but I am not teary all the time anymore. I have been taking it for 9 months and have lost 15 pounds. Some of the weight loss is due to the Wellbutrin, some is due to increased activity and exercise. (I needed to lose a few pounds.) The weight loss has made me feel better about myself. I had been taking Lexipro prior to the Wellbutrin and gained 10 pounds.

Numbness, dizziness, blurry vision sensitivity to light, rash
