Side Effects for Rhinocort (budesonide)
RHINOCORT (BUDESONIDE): This medication is used to treat certain bowel conditions (such as Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis). While budesonide does not cure these conditions, it may decrease symptoms such as pain and diarrhea. Budesonide is an anti-inflammatory drug (corticosteroid hormone). I have not had any manic or mixed episodes while taking this drug, however, I suspect that this drug has impacted my ability to feel happiness. I have had serious anhedonia ever since I started taking this drug. Nothing seems like very much fun anymore and I don't really enjoy anything at all.
