VASOTEC (ENALAPRIL MALEATE): Enalapril is used to treat high blood pressure. Lowering high blood pressure helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems. It is also used to treat heart failure and to help prevent people with a certain heart problem (left ventricular dysfunction) from developing heart failure. Enalapril belongs to a class of drugs known as ACE inhibitors. It works by relaxing blood vessels so blood can flow more easily. Couldn't sleep the whole seven months I took it. Got high blood pressure and never had any problems with that before.
Insomnia, sweaty hands/feet, decreased appetite=weight loss,dilated pupils. Side effects have lessened over time.

Severe anxiety and depression within 24 hours of first dose. I have taken this drug intermittently over two months with severe anxiety that I couldnt pinpoint a reason for. It wasn’t until I recently googled the side effects to see others have also experienced similar problems. I will never again take this medication. It’s taken 8 days since I stopped the Med and I’m still experiencing slight anxiety. Looking forward to getting back to myself.
Success! I no longer have diagnosed osteoporosis, have had significant increase in bone. Back to Osteopenia. Staying on Evista, will check in another year.Also am taking 2000mgs of VitMin D a day, and calcium supplements. Also exercise several days a week, walking, running, weight lifting.
Tiredness during the day. Delayed driving responses. Less social. Appetite decreased, thirst increased... frequent bathroom trips, Depression. Just not seeming oneself.
