Side Effects for Propecia (finasteride)
PROPECIA (FINASTERIDE): Finasteride is used to shrink an enlarged prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia or BPH) in adult men. It may be used alone or taken in combination with other medications to reduce symptoms of BPH and may also reduce the need for surgery. Finasteride may improve symptoms of BPH and provide benefits such as decreased urge to urinate, better urine flow with less straining, less of a feeling that the bladder is not completely emptied, and decreased nighttime urination. This medication works by decreasing the amount of a natural body hormone (DHT) that causes growth of the prostate. Finasteride is not approved for prevention of prostate cancer. It may slightly increase the risk of developing a very serious form of prostate cancer. Talk to your doctor about the benefits and risks. Women and children should not use this medication. i took this for about two monts along with wellbutrin and at first had a hard time staying awake during the day. after that passed i began wanting to drink so badly it was driving me nuts. i began to drink to control the restlessness i felt because i was climbing the walls in my house just trying to get away from myself. i quit taking it a week again and with just the wellbutrin i feel much better.

Only 1st dose so far: sore arm at injection site and mild fatigue. In a few months after 2nd dose, will post again to update.
I feel hungry all the time. I have also been experiencing anxiety and nervousness. My nerves are on edge and I am feeling out of sorts. Also have some dizziness and blurred vision and a mild headache.
OSA / SWSD / Excessive Sleepiness
I took this back in 1990's the Generic doesn't come close to the original. This is working in reverse of what it did at that time. Thanks drug companies always looking for ways to make money and don't really care about the patients. If you did you make it affordable and make back to the original.
Bitter taste in mouth for much of the day.
At first made anxiety worse, headache, nausea, shaky feeling inside but got better after 2 weeks. Dizzy is still there, starts about an hour after taking it.
For 6months, i was on yasmin to clear my mild acne. when my acne cleared up i decided to go off of it. After going off i didnt get my period for 4 months, and i started breaking out on my forehead but all the side effects dissapeared. Once i got my period i went back on yasmin, only to re-gain the weight and all the symptoms. realizing that clearing up acne wasn't outweighing the side effects, i'm considering going on desogen after this month. (it's been 6 months since i went back on it, for a total of one year)
Has completely removed anxiety. Nothing worked for last 25 years and I have taken EVERYTHING. Taking 600 mgs. at the moment. Missing word syndrome is problematic.
